Ingredients (got everything from Ralphs):

  • 1 pound ground chicken
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 1/4 cup hoisin sauce
  • 2 tblspoons soy sauce
  • 1 tblspoon rice vinegar
  • 1 tblspoon freshly grated ginger
  • 1 can (8 oz) whole water chestnuts, drained and diced
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 head butter lettuce (I used iceberg lettuce)

Directions:

  • Heat ground chicken and add onions when slightly browned
  • Stir in garlic, hoisin sauce, soy sauce, rice vinegar, and ginger and cook until the onions become translucent
  • Stir in chestnuts and season with salt and pepper
  • Serve as desired – I top with extra hoisin sauce
